Golf del Sur is located one junction south on the TF1 motorway from the Tenerife South airport, and around a twenty minute drive to the major resorts in the south of Tenerife, namely Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. Starting life as a golf course, Golf del Sur is now a resort town in its own right, along with nearby Amarilla Golf, meaning there are two top quality golf courses to be found right on the doorstep. In San Blas, the commercial centre, there is an array of shops, bars, restaurants, a church, a doctor's surgery and so on whilst the neighbouring resort of Amarilla Golf is home to the San Miguel marina. You can also take a lovely stroll along the seafront walkway to the traditional fishing village of Los Abrigos with its host of fresh fish restaurants.
